ANTREA KANTAKOSKI

ANTREA – Sankt Andree

is a unisex fashion collection of handcrafted, handwoven garments designed to be expressive, comfortable, and wearable. Rooted in the rich heritage of Karelian culture in diaspora, the collection explores memory, displacement, and belonging through textile and form.

This work is dedicated to my Karelian grandfather Erkki, my Savonian grandmother Elina, and to my great-aunts and great-grandparents, whose stories and lives have shaped my sense of identity and gave me roots.

The collection also honors families around the world who carry the legacy of losing their homes to war, a reality that continues to this day.

At its heart, the collection tells a story of strength, resilience, and the enduring power of culture, a culture that lives on across borders and time.

My vision is to share this story with everyone, inviting connection beyond background, place, or history.
